Bonsai exhibition held at Casa do Barro (Telhado - Fundão until 21st June🪧🌳🏺.

Bonsai is not about planting trees on a pot. It’s a very complex and profound art. You have to create an evocative image that can transport you for a natural scenario or landscape 🏔️🌳. This idea, start 3 years ago from a poor and abandoned juniper on a nursery stock. Work on your vision, make a plan, cultivate well and the final result is only the consequence of daily dedication. First work on this itoigawa from customer. Not an easy tree with most of the main branches with strange and incorrect movements. In bonsai, specially on itoigawas from this size, less is, in fact, more. Next - improve all the deadwood, open the shari a little bit more and reconnect the jins into the final composition. The most important - now we have and idea💡. Last photo is “before” 📸.
