Hoje recordamos a visita cultural dos nossos alunos do 7.º ano pelas emblemáticas ruas de Lisboa. Ao longo do dia, tiveram a oportunidade de conhecer locais de grande importância e aprofundar os seus conhecimentos de uma forma dinâmica e envolvente.

Mais do que uma visita, foi uma experiência de aprendizagem que permitiu ligar a história à realidade. 📚✨

🇨🇦 Looking back on a day of discovery through the streets of Lisbon! 🏛️

Today, we're remembering our Year 7 students' cultural visit to the historic streets of Lisbon. Throughout the trip, they had the opportunity to explore some of the city's most significant landmarks and deepen their understanding through an engaging and immersive learning experience.

More than just a visit, it was a valuable opportunity to bring history to life and connect classroom learning with the world around them. 📚✨

🇵🇹 Uma doce descoberta da tradição portuguesa! 🥮✨

Hoje relembramos o dia em que os nossos alunos do Pré-Escolar embarcaram numa visita muito especial, tendo a oportunidade de conhecer de perto como são confecionados os famosos Pastéis de Belém.

Ao longo da visita, descobriram um pouco da história desta emblemática iguaria portuguesa, observaram parte do processo de confeção e, no final, deliciaram-se com uma prova que tornou esta experiência ainda mais especial! 😋🐻

🇨🇦 A sweet taste of Portuguese tradition! 🥮✨

Today, we're looking back at the day our Preschool children enjoyed a very special visit, where they had the opportunity to discover how the world-famous Pastéis de Belém are made.

Throughout the visit, they learned about the history of this iconic Portuguese delicacy, observed part of the baking process, and, of course, ended the experience by tasting these delicious pastries for themselves. It was a memorable day filled with learning, discovery, and a true taste of Portugal! 😋🐻

🇵🇹 Alguns dos nossos alunos participaram numa atividade especial de pintura de azulejos alusivos aos Direitos das Crianças, desenvolvida em parceria com a CPCJ de Cascais e orientada pela Professora Joana Cruz.

Esta atividade permitiu às crianças explorar a arte do azulejo português, expressando ideias, emoções e criatividade através de diferentes padrões, cores e formas.

Além de promover a sensibilidade estética e o orgulho na cultura e tradição portuguesa, esta atividade permitiu refletir sobre a importância de lutar, todos os dias, pelos direitos dos mais novos. 💙

🇨🇦 Some of our students took part in a special tile-painting project inspired by the Rights of the Child, developed in partnership with the CPCJ of Cascais and led by our Visual Arts teacher, Mrs Joana Cruz.

Through this creative activity, the children explored the rich tradition of Portuguese ceramic tiles while expressing their ideas, emotions and creativity through colour, pattern and design.

Beyond developing their artistic skills and appreciation of Portugal's cultural heritage, the project encouraged pupils to reflect on the importance of promoting and protecting the rights of every child, helping them to grow as compassionate, responsible and active members of society. 💙

🇵🇹Os alunos que frequentam a atividade extracurricular de Surf participaram num encontro destinado ao escalão de principiantes, uma iniciativa integrada no calendário anual desta modalidade, que lhes proporcionou a oportunidade de viver uma experiência organizada e enriquecedora, num ambiente de partilha e descoberta, sem caráter competitivo.

Ao longo do dia, os participantes passaram por diversas estações, incluindo Surf, Bodyboard, Skimboard, SUP, Surfskate, um Workshop de Segurança e ainda o Programa de Cidadania Marítima, dinamizado pela Polícia Marítima. 🏄‍♂️🌊

🇨🇦 Our students taking part in the Surf extracurricular activity attended a special event for beginner surfers, organised as part of the annual programme for this sport.

Designed as a non-competitive experience, the event provided an excellent opportunity for pupils to develop their skills, build confidence and enjoy the excitement of surfing in a fun, supportive and collaborative environment.

Throughout the day, they took part in a variety of activity stations, including Surfing, Bodyboarding, Skimboarding, Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP), Surfskating, a Water Safety Workshop, and the Maritime Citizenship Programme delivered by the Portuguese Maritime Police. 🏄‍♂️🌊

🇵🇹 Hoje, aproveitamos para recordar alguns dos momentos especiais da primeira semana dos nossos Tempos Livres! 🌞✨
Durante os ateliês, as crianças colocaram as mãos na massa, confecionando uma deliciosa receita e despertaram a curiosidade com uma divertida experiência científica. 👩‍🍳🔬👩‍🍳

🇨🇦 Today, we're looking back at some of the highlights from the first week of our Summer Camp! 🌞✨
During our workshops, the children rolled up their sleeves to prepare a delicious recipe and sparked their curiosity through a fun science experiment. 👩‍🍳🔬

🇵🇹 Os alunos do 6.º ano realizaram uma visita de estudo ao Jardim Botânico da Ajuda: uma experiência enriquecedora que permitiu aprofundar conhecimentos sobre o mundo natural e a sua importância para a sociedade. 🌿🐝

Ao longo da visita, os alunos exploraram o papel fundamental dos insetos na polinização, descobriram diferentes estratégias utilizadas pelas plantas para garantir a sua reprodução e refletiram sobre a relevância da biodiversidade para o equilíbrio dos ecossistemas. 🌱💚

🇨🇦 Our Year 6 students enjoyed an enriching educational visit to the Ajuda Botanical Garden, where they had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the natural world and its importance to our society. 🌿🐝

Throughout the visit, they explored the vital role of insects in pollination, discovered the fascinating strategies plants use to reproduce, and reflected on the importance of biodiversity in maintaining healthy and balanced ecosystems. 🌱💚
