NEW EDUCATION SPACE IS ARRIVING — VILLORA ACADEMY 🌟
We’re excited to introduce Villora Academy — a vibrant new learning space where curiosity, creativity, and nature come together. Our first cohort will welcome children aged 5–9, creating a small, nurturing community where every child’s voice, ideas, and imagination matter.
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, our bilingual environment encourages children to explore the “100 languages of the child” — expressing ideas through art, movement, storytelling, science, and hands-on discovery. Learning happens through enquiry-based projects that grow from children’s natural curiosity.
Set within the beautiful natural landscape of Malveira da Serra, children will regularly step outdoors for projects, exploration, and adventures that connect learning with the real world.
Villora Academy is founded by three passionate women who share a vision for meaningful education:
👩‍🏫 Kerry Trigg — education specialist with over 20 years of experience in teaching, leadership, management, and school start-ups.
🏡 Jacqueline Pointkoski — founder of Villora House and a passionate supporter of community and creative spaces.
🌿 Aleksandra Kozera — owner of Blisko Global, bringing her vision for thoughtful, child-centred environments.
Together, we are creating an inspiring place where children can explore, question, create, and grow.

Guincho Green Camp: Fostering Creativity and Sustainability

This week at we had the privilege of collaborating with creating an unforgettable experience for all involved. Nestled in the breathtaking Sintra National Park at , our young filmmakers found inspiration in the lush, sustainable farm setting. This unique environment spurred them to produce impactful short films that resonate with the spirit of environmental stewardship.

Throughout the week, our participants honed their storytelling skills and took on specific roles within their film crews, ensuring a professional production process. From directors to scriptwriters and camera operators, each role was crucial in bringing their creative visions to life.

But the experience didn’t stop at filmmaking. Each crew also developed their own brand and designed sustainable merchandise to promote their films.

Guincho Green Camp is proud to support the next generation of filmmakers and environmental stewards who are poised to make a significant impact on our world.

An Inspiring Camp for Young Filmmakers and Artists

Calling young filmmakers passionate about driving change and raising awareness for sustainability!

Nestled in a beautiful eco-friendly setting at Quinta da Bufala, our eco film camp offers a unique blend of creative exploration and practical skills development, all aimed at fostering a new generation of eco-conscious leaders.

Under the guidance of experienced film makers , you'll master the essentials of storytelling, cinematography, and editing. This camp provides the tools and knowledge you need to create impactful short films.

You will have the opportunity to engage in eco-friendly art projects, including sustainable tie-dye techniques using plants from the quinta. Experiment with various printing techniques and try your hand at woodwork and woodburning.

Combine your artistic talents and entrepreneurial skills to create your own branded merchandise to advertise your film. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your work and spread your message of sustainability!
