When pitching, make sure you stand slightly to the left and that you already open your hips in your set-up.
If you turn the clubface open for more loft, make sure you also stand more open so that the clubface remains towards the target!
The length of your backswing is at most take-away with wrist bend. Determine this yourself based on the distance to be covered and the height of the ball flight!

You start from the backswing position, then it is time to throw the right forearm down under your left shoulder or to the tip of your left shoe! Your hands will automatically start doing things out of relaxation; which is much quicker than you consciously moving them yourself! The punching movement of the right forearm is done with the underside of the bones at your wrist in your arm. You should start to notice that the speed of the punching movement matches the distance to be covered!
