Gender inequality has been a problem that extends to one of the most important aspects of our society: school education.

The education system is the context that allows an effective change both at individual and social level, which is fundamental for the elimination of gender inequalities.

Teachers are the main actors responsible for implementing this elementary function of education, acting as carriers of society’s values and cultural codes.

In this sense, their qualification through methodologies, innovative approaches and tools that promote a fairer and more inclusive school atmosphere becomes a necessity, namely regarding gender issues.

On November 15, at 2:30 pm, the Casa do Professor Auditorium will host the Final Conference of the T-SHIRT project, focusing on gender stereotypes.

Participation is free, but registration is required.
