As part of our After School Activities programme, Art Therapy provides students with a space to express themselves, develop their creativity and engage with art in a supportive environment.

No âmbito do nosso programa de Atividades Extracurriculares, a Arteterapia oferece aos alunos um espaço para se expressarem, desenvolverem a sua criatividade e interagirem com a arte num ambiente acolhedor.

A group of OIS students travelled to São Tomé as part of our Cultural Exchange and Volunteering Programme, where they spent the week teaching English alongside students from Associação Kêlê.

There was plenty of learning. Mostly from each other.

They came home with new friendships and stories they'll be telling for years. 💛

There may have been House points up for grabs, but that wasn't the only thing our students were chasing. 💛

The PYP Mini Olympics brought together Kingfisher, Vulpes, João Baptista and Phantom for a day filled with challenges and teamwork.

From relay races to creative games, students encouraged one another and showed that being part of a House is about much more than competition.

It's about supporting your teammates and having fun along the way.

A wonderful day full of energy, laughter and House spirit. 🏆

As PYP Mini Olympics reuniram as Casas Kingfisher, Vulpes, João Baptista e Phantom para um dia repleto de desafios e trabalho de equipa.

Desde corridas de estafetas a jogos criativos, os alunos incentivaram-se mutuamente e mostraram que fazer parte de uma casa é muito mais do que competição.

Trata-se de apoiar os seus colegas de equipa e divertir-se ao longo do caminho.

Um dia maravilhoso, cheio de energia, risos e espírito de equipa. 🏆

Na OIS, o surf é uma das nossas atividades extracurriculares, dando aos alunos a oportunidade de se manterem ativos, ganharem confiança e desfrutarem do oceano com a Surf Lisbon.

Uma sala de aula diferente, todas as terças-feiras.

Some challenges are about finding the right answer. Others are about having the confidence to give it a try.

Nine OIS students took part in the Lisbon Maths Challenge, joining young mathematicians from across the region for a day of problem-solving and friendly competition.

We're incredibly proud of Maria, Oliver, Findley, Nandhan, Zihan, Charis, Maximiliano, Rio and Antonio for embracing the challenge and making the most of the experience. 💛

What comes after school is becoming an increasingly important conversation. 🌍

Last week, OIS hosted the IB University Day in partnership with the International Baccalaureate (IB), bringing together representatives from universities and international schools to discuss the evolving journey from secondary education to higher education.

As international education continues to grow in Portugal, conversations around university access, international qualifications and student pathways are becoming more relevant than ever.

More importantly, the event highlighted the value of collaboration between schools and universities in helping students navigate their next steps with confidence. 💛

O que vem depois da escola está a tornar-se um tema cada vez mais importante. 🌍

A semana passada, a OIS organizou o Dia da Universidade IB em parceria com o International Baccalaureate (IB), reunindo representantes de universidades e escolas internacionais para discutir o percurso em constante evolução do ensino secundário para o ensino superior.

Com o contínuo crescimento da educação internacional em Portugal, as discussões sobre o acesso à universidade, as qualificações internacionais e os percursos estudantis tornam-se mais relevantes do que nunca.

Mais importante ainda, o evento destacou o valor da colaboração entre escolas e universidades para ajudar os alunos a seguirem os seus próximos passos com confiança. 💛
