Hi Folks!, I’m Sofia Janeiro. I have a degree in Biology, a Post-Graduation in Environmental Planning and Advanced Studies in Climate Change and Sustainable Development. I’ve worked for many years in the non-profit sector where I developed several projects around environment. My teaching experience started back then where I’ve worked with kids, trainned teams and taught students in university classes .
More recently, in 2019, I made a big change in my life - like most of you - and moved to Aljezur. I started teaching Portuguese Language and soon realized that I love it. I love to meet new people, the life stories and to see the progress of each person.
My teaching approach is to make the learning process easy by understanding what works best with each student. My classes are unformal but I do like that my students commit and to do the homework so they can see fast results and keep motivated. Fast is actually “fast” because Portuguese is not the easiest language in the world. But I promise you: you will speak Portuguese!
