شرح قاعدة S الملكية
اذا اردنا ان ننسب شيئا لشخص معين فاننا نذكر اسم هذا الشخص وتتبع الاسم
بالحرف S مسبوقا بفاصله
هذا كتاب بيتر = This is Peter's book
هذه كتب بيتر = These are Peter's books
واذا كان اسم الشي الذي سننسبه الى الشخص المعين في حالة الجمع فاننا نستعمل
نفس الصيغة أعلاه مع

فارق بسيط وهو وضع حرف الـ s وبعده الفاصله
هذه كتب الطلاب = These are the students' books
وفي الاسماء التي لا يمكن جمعها باضافة s فاننا نبقى الفاصله قبل حرف الـ s
شأنها شأن المفرد
هذه قبعات الرجال = These are the men's hats
ومع اسماءالعائلات المكونه من عدة افراد نضع الفاصله بعد حرف s
هذا بيت عائلة تيلر = This is the Tailors' house
