This center was established in 1969. Since then, the center has been serving Palestinian students. Many students, who succeeded in various fields and specializations were enrolled in this center. The number of these students is more than 25 thousand students along all these years. Our Mission:
The center offers a number of courses suitable for Palestinian students who look forward to developing their linguistic capacities and their ambitions in life. The center focuses on an educational system to be built in commitment and friendly atmosphere. Our Objectives:
Whether you are, a businessman or a student, old or young, male or female, nothing can stop you to join the center. Salam Center aims to develop the capacity of all categories of society, so it gives opportunities for students to determine their vocational and educational future. The center also gives his students a collection of lectures by excellent instructors who are well-qualified and experienced. Offered Courses:
English Courses:
Students sit for a diagnoses test to determine the level which is suitable for them. There are six levels of English courses: beginning, intermediate and advanced levels. There are also special courses for businessmen and merchants. Hebrew Courses:
There are three levels, for beginners intermediate and advanced students. After ending the course, a student will be able to read, write, speak, and listen to Hebrew. Computer Courses :
There are courses in Speed Typing, Microsoft Programs, Management, Using Internet and E-mail and other applied courses. Secretarial Training:
Basic secretarial training and advanced secretarial training. Notes:
At the end of each course, a student sits for an examination sand he is rewarded a certificate . Other services:
Legal Translation: for documents, books contracts and reports from English to Arabic, or Hebrew to Arabic and vice versa. General Translation: This includes documents in many fields especially in science, medicine, finance, economics, religion, economic feasibility in addition to miscellaneous instruments. Special Translation: This includes documents related to embassies, courts, governmental departments and foreign establishments. Salam Center for Languages - Gaza
