The main aim of creating a Youth Media Forum is to bring Palestinian youth together from different parts of the Occupied Palestinian territories and diaspora to provide them with an open platform community to discuss and reflect their thoughts and voices In this time of change and instability that the Palestinians are facing as people and nation; Palestinian youth, from all parts of the Palestinia
n occupied territories as well as in the diaspora, need to join together to discuss the role of youth in the future of the Palestinian national movement and their future. The creation of such Forum will be considered as part of the growing global movement. Young people are among the most affected by violence, unemployment, discrimination, exclusion and have restricted access to social services like health and education. The situation is even worse and dehumanizing for young Palestinian refugees who are often excluded from society and discriminated against. The Youth Media Forum will present a space and platform for Palestinian youth to work together to bring desired changes to their communities, as well as the youth power will be directed to build better communities in the world; through gathering youth delegations from different Palestinian countries to discuss and share ideas on important and current issues. The main aim of creating a Youth Media Forum is to bring Palestinian youth together from different parts of the Occupied Palestinian territories and diaspora to provide them with an open platform community to discuss and reflect their thoughts and voices through media tools. Add to that the creation of Youth media social forum for social change aims to enable them to agree on issues of common concern and encourage them to bring about change through taking collective actions and to discuss the path to sustainable development, social and economic justice and alternative models for people, centered on self reliant progress. The Main objectives of this Forum are:
Allow a space for the Palestinian Youth in which they share ideas to change their community
Offer chances to the Palestinian Youth to bring their voices out and have them heard
Promote the concept of equality among young Palestinian minds
Discuss the role that youth can play in changing the community through the power of one story, one voice; one single idea that can change the world
Help young people become more involved in making the decisions that affect their lives. Advance young people’s participation in society and civic life. Build a Palestinian youth movement to bring remarkable and inspiring stories locally and globally
Provide the Palestinian Youth with the opportunity to engage in forward-thinking ideas and remarkable stories to show the world the young creative minds in Palestine
أهداف المنتدى الشبابي الإعلامي
في خضم ظروف التغيير وعدم الاستقرار التي يواجهه الشعب الفلسطيني، تبرز حاجة ملحة لتجميع الشباب الفلسطينيين وتحفيزهم على الانضمام والتواصل مع بعضهم في مختلف أنحاء العالم، وذلك لتمكينهم من نقاش دورهم، ومشاركتهم في مستقبلهم، وفي الحركة الوطنية الفلسطينية. ما يتطلب إطلاق "المنتدى الشبابي الإعلامي" الذي يسعى لأن يكون فرصةً لتجميع الشباب الفلسطيني معاً، في منتدى افتراضي واحد على شبكة الانترنت.
يمثل إنشاء هذا المنتدى تجربة جديدة تضاف إلى حركة عالمية متنامية لتمكين الشباب، لكونهم من بين الفئات الأكثر تضررا من العنف، والبطالة، والتمييز، والإقصاء، إضافة إلى حرمانهم من الوصول إلى الخدمات الاجتماعية مثل الصحة والتعليم. ويزداد الوضع سوءاً عندما يتعلق بالأوضاع التي يعانيها اللاجئون الفلسطينييون الشباب، الذين غالباً ما يتم استبعادهم من المجتمع، ويمارس التمييز القسري في حقهم.
يسعى "المنتدى الشبابي الإعلامي" لتوفير مساحة ومنصة تفاعلية للفلسطينيين الشباب، لمساعدتهم على العمل معاً لتحقيق التغييرات المطلوبة في مجتمعاتهم، من خلال توجيه قدراتهم وطاقاتهم لبناء مجتمعات أفضل، عن طريق توفير مجموعات شبابية فلسطينية من دول مختلفة تناقش الأفكار وتتبادل الأراء حول القضايا الراهنة والمهمة بالنسبة لهم.
الهدف الرئيسي من إنشاء "المنتدى الشبابي الإعلامي" هو تجميع الشباب الفلسطينيين في مختلف أماكن تواجدهم، في الداخل والشتات، للعمل معاً ضمن منصة مفتوحة لنقاش أفكارهم، وإعلاء أصواتهم، وإبراز قضاياهم من خلال وسائل الإعلام المختلفة، إضافة إلى تمكينهم من الاتفاق على قضايا التغيير الاجتماعي ذات الاهتمام المشترك، وتشجيعهم على إحداث التغيير من خلال اتخاذ إجراءات جماعية، ومناقشة الطريق إلى التنمية المستدامة، إضافة إلى العدالة الاجتماعية، والقضايا الاقتصادية والبديلة .
وتتمثل الأهداف الرئيسية للمنتدى في:
إعطاء مساحة للشباب الفلسطيني لمشاركة وتبادل الأفكار بهدف السعي لتغيير المجتمع وتطويره.
تقديم فرص لإعلاء صوت الشباب الفلسطيني وتعزيز مشاركته.
تعزيز مفهوم المساواة بين أفراد نفس الجيل الشاب بغض النظر عن اختلاف الأفكار والمفاهيم.
مناقشة الدور الذي يمكن أن يلعبه الشباب في تغيير مجتمعهم من خلال قوة قصة، أو صوت، أو فكرة واحدة يمكنها أن تغير العالم.
مساعدة الشباب وزيادة مشاركتهم في اتخاذ القرارات التي تؤثر على حياتهم.
تعزز مشاركة الشباب الواعية والمكثفة في المجتمع والحياة المدنية.
بناء حركة شبابية فلسطينية لخلق قصص رائعة تلهم المجتمع المحلي والعالم.
تعزيز فرصة الشباب الفلسطيني في الانخراط في الأفكار الطليعية، والقصص الملهمة، لترويج العقول والقدرات الإبداعية الفلسطينية عالمياً.
