New language  new possibilities!
Five girls from our School participated in the national stage of the international young readers’ competition in Russian literature. They had to find an extract from a famous Russian novel and read it expressively. For a month we were working hard to prepare for this competition. However, because of corona virus it was finally not held in the Russian Centre in Bethlehem as planned before. The girls had to make their own videos of reading presentation and send it to the jury.
According to results published in the end of March, Majd Ayyad (grade 11) took first prize in category “Russian as a foreign language”. Her victory entitles her to participate in the international finals in Russia. However, because of corona virus also the final competition is postponed.
Being very proud of Majd’s results, we thank all the participants and wish them success and high achievement in the next year!

Новый язык  новые возможности!
Пять учениц нашей школы приняли участие в национальном этапе международного конкурса чтецов русской литературы «Живая классика». Участники должны были выбрать отрывок из известного произведения на русском языке и выразительно прочитать его. Мы долго готовились к этому конкурсу, но, к сожалению, из-за коронавируса в Русском центре в Вифлееме конкурс провести не смогли. Участники должны были подготовить видео своего выступления и отправить его жюри. В конце марта мы узнали, что ученица 11 класса нашей школы Мажд Айад победила в категории «Русский язык как иностранный». Как победитель она должна принять участие в международном финале, который пройдёт в России, но он временно отложен из-за коронавируса.
Мы благодарим всех участников и желаем им удачи в следующем году!
