Getting ready for Grandparents Day & Puerto Rican Culture Day!

We’re excited for a great morning with our loved ones.

This month, as we addressed some licensing and staffing challenges, our students have been actively participating in the Coach for Kids Fall Camp. We’re grateful for this interim solution, and we’re excited to announce that Lovely Little Einsteins Preschool will soon be back in full swing!

A big thank you goes out to Norberto and his exceptional team for their unwavering support and for providing our LLEP students with both care and fun during this period.

As the camp draws to a close in two weeks, we’re preparing to relaunch Lovely Little Einsteins Preschool, rejuvenated with a passionate new team. We’re eager to reintroduce our comprehensive program to the community.

For those curious about our offerings or considering enrollment, we invite you to a “Meet and Greet” on October 26th at 9am at the preschool.

We’re also hosting open houses daily starting the week of October 23rd!

This is the perfect chance to meet your child’s new educators, familiarize yourself with our curriculum, teaching approach, and daily activities, and discuss any queries or concerns.

Teachers and faculty at LLEP-VA are the heart and soul of our school. Without their commitment to early childhood education and passion for teaching, our classrooms wouldn’t be filled with so much joy and tenderness. Thank you to our incredible staff.

Meet our President!

Yezenia Manke is an educational entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in organization leadership and management specializing in early childhood education. Yezenia and her long time friend and colleague Cara Knapp acquired Lovely Little Einstein’s Foundation in late 2019.

By 2020, in the midst of the Covid pandemic, Yezenia was compelled to bring the best early childhood resource to the Dorado/Vega Alta community to help parents and families alike.

With the support of board members, friends, donors, and passionate community members, Yezenia lead the development and strategic vision to open a Lovely Little Einstein’s second campus in Vega Alta.

Yezenia believes that experiential learning programs provide children a pathway to success and is continuing to find motivation and inspiration from educators and children.

With her leadership, LLEP-VA is expanding its footprint for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. This expansion will allow LLEP-VA to operate two additional classrooms which will bring school operations to five classrooms: 12-18 months, 18-24 months, 2s class, 3 class (PPK equivalent), 4 class (PK equivalent).

Additionally, plans include a full in-house kitchen to provide the very best snacks and meals for our students, better playground equipment, a new generator, teacher’s salary increases and a baby-safe play area.

Yezenia is honored to lead the Foundation in its continued growth.

Meet our Director, Carol Fernández!

Carol Fernández was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She has a bachelors degree in Psychology and holds a double masters degree in Educational Neuroscience and School Psychology.

She joined the Lovely Little Einsteins community as a Creators Head Teacher at the Miramar campus in 2018 and was promoted to Director of Vega Alta Campus in 2020 after demonstrating outstanding leadership skills.

“As a Director, everyday is a new and challenging experience. I view things through my teacher’s lens in most everything I do and part of that is having an understanding that children are our teachers too! My philosophy now is that if we’re open to it, students and teachers can constantly learn from one another.”

Carol’s passion for early childhood education, her experience as a teacher, and her vast knowledge in education and psychology makes her an incredible asset to our school.

We are honored to call her our Director.
