State of DEI initiatives in Global Aid - Presentation and Panel 13/12/2021

Fearless Project hosted our first, virtual event and it was everything we hoped for.🎉

At the State of DEI initiatives in Global Aid, our research, panelists, and participants all agreed on the need for more thoughtful approaches to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace.

🔍 We learned that while there are some great solutions out there, so much is just more of the same.
🚩 There’s been a serious lack of innovation in the industry for decades.
💡 But that's where the opportunity lies!

Last week's 'State of DEI Initiatives in Global Aid' event was so enriching. Our favorite parts were the unfiltered panel discussion and your thought-provoking questions and comments. We were left energized and hopeful!

We asked two big questions with a focus on the global aid industry:

🔎 Why are DEI initiatives failing?

🔎 What makes a DEI initiative a success?

💡 Here’s the big problem we discovered in our research: most DEI initiatives are reactive, misdirected, and poorly designed.

Let’s keep this conversation going: What do you feel is working and what isn't working in DEI initiatives in the global aid industry?

We are feeling a lot of joy since completing our first public event last week, 'The State of DEI Initiatives in Global Aid'. We've been brainstorming ways we can continue to connect, and we have some exciting ideas in store. We also took some time to rest.

Keep an eye out for the subtitled recording, coming out this week
