Rising Comet Alumni Lunch for the class of 2026!

What a special night back at campus. The CPS Holiday Alumni Party 2025 brought alumni together to reconnect and relive memories where it all began.

Alumni walked through campus, saw the newly renovated court, read poems written by current students in the auditorium, and looked through old yearbooks filled with familiar faces. The evening was filled with dancing, karaoke, drinks, appetizers, and great conversation on a breezy holiday night.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this return to campus so meaningful. Once a Comet, always a Comet.

We are happy to share that Lizbeth Martinez, Comet Alumna from the Class of 2025, shined this season as a Defense Specialist for the women’s volleyball team at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

Her team achieved a milestone by being crowned champions of both the CUNY Tournament and the CUNYAC Championship, defeating programs that had dominated the conference for years.

These accomplishments earned them a spot in the NCAA National Championship Tournament, which will take place in Virginia.
