🧠✨ So proud of our lab at the 33rd Puerto Rico Neuroscience Conference ✨🧠

This past Saturday, December 6th, at the Medical Sciences Campus from UPR, three of our undergraduate students — María F. Acevedo Kury, Gabriela A. Marrero Hernández, and María I. Morales Quezada — represented our lab at Puerto Rico Neuroscience 2025, presenting their research in the poster competition.

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate María F. Acevedo Kury, who earned 🥇 first place in Behavioral Neuroscience. Her hard work, dedication, and genuine passion for research truly stood out, and this recognition is more than deserved.

Huge shoutout as well to Gabriela Marrero and María Morales for their amazing presentations and commitment to science — their future in neuroscience is looking bright.

Moments like these remind us why mentoring and supporting students is so rewarding. 💙🔬
So proud of all three!

✨ María Morales, a student in the IDGeNe program, proudly represented GhezziLab at two national conferences this past November.

From November 15–19, she presented her research at the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) meeting in San Diego, and then headed to San Antonio to participate in ABRCMS from November 19–22.

Two conferences, two amazing stages, and one passion: growing as a scientist and sharing her work with the world.
We couldn’t be prouder of her dedication, hard work, and enthusiasm! 💙🧠🔬✨
