Grateful for the opportunity to participate in this industry visit as part of our UAS Applications graduate course led by Kevin A. Adkins, Ph.D., FRAeS. Learning directly from the Vertical Aerospace team and seeing the progress being made in Advanced Air Mobility was both motivating and insightful.

Experiences like this highlight the importance of strong collaboration between academia and industry as we prepare for the next era of aviation. As an aviation maintainer, educator, and graduate student focused on uncrewed and emerging aircraft systems, it was inspiring to gain deeper perspective on systems integration, electric propulsion, and the operational future of flight.
