✈️⚡ This is exactly why ALAS is in Florida.
Florida's push toward Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and eVTOL continues to grow, and today that future was once again front and center right here at Embry-Riddle in Daytona Beach.
For ALAS, this is exactly where we want to be.
Our founder is currently teaching in Embry-Riddle's Aviation Maintenance Science (AMS) program, pursuing his master's at the university, and developing research focused on Advanced Air Mobility.
At the same time, Florida, Daytona Beach, and Embry-Riddle are becoming increasingly involved in the research, infrastructure, workforce, and technology that will support this next generation of aviation.
For ALAS, being here is intentional.
We want to learn from it, contribute to it, and help prepare the next generation to be part of it.

El impulso de Florida hacia Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) y eVTOL continúa creciendo, y hoy ese futuro volvió a tomar protagonismo aquí mismo, en Embry-Riddle en Daytona Beach.

Great to be at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical Univ today to highlight Florida’s leadership in advanced air mobility (AAM).
I signed legislation last year to recognize AAM as an official mode of transportation in Florida. Now, we’re building the infrastructure to test these emerging technologies. AAM—including electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft—could soon be used for passenger air-taxi service, cargo delivery, medical transportation, and emergency response missions.
Embry-Riddle, as the top university in the nation for aerospace and aviation, is an indispensable partner in this effort. Today, I was proud to announce that construction on much needed improvements along Clyde Morris Boulevard is starting two years ahead of schedule. This fully funded $56 million investment will relieve congestion, mitigate flooding risks, and improve pedestrian safety for the Embry-Riddle campus community.
