🎉 ¡Hoy martes de brilla boricua les hablamos de la exitosa carrera del Dr. Hector Ruiz! 🎉

🪸El Dr. Ruiz es egresado de la Universidad de Puerto Rico en el Recinto de Mayagüez donde obtuvo su doctorado en biología marina con énfasis en botánica marina, taxonomía de organismos de arrecifes de coral y ecología.

🐡 Héctor es ahora Director Ejecutivo de HJR Reefscaping y uno de los biólogos marinos detrás del proyecto piloto de restauración de corales que utiliza botellas de cristal, esfuerzos de restauración de mangles, arrecifes de coral y yerbas marinas, así como la conservación, educación marina ambiental e investigaciones en ciencias pesqueras en Puerto Rico y el caribe.

🐙 Dentro de su labor se destaca cómo uno de los consultores ambientales que está compuesto por un equipo de científicos con experiencia en diversos temas como Biología, Ecología, Geología, y Taxonomía de Flora y Fauna.

💙¡Wow! Es reconfortante que las playas y vida marina de nuestra Isla de Encanto estén en las manos de boricuas con una trayectoria comprometida con la ciencia y la conservación.
