Continuing our celebration here at Cahsi UPRM, we’re proud to highlight another remarkable Cahsi Affinity Research Group: MAVEN – Malware Analysis & Vulnerability Exploration Research Group 🛡️🧠

MAVEN is on the front lines of cybersecurity, diving deep into the evolving world of malware and exploring how AI can revolutionize our defenses. From mastering static and dynamic malware analysis 🐛 to building secure environments for hands-on experimentation 🧪, students in this ARG are developing the skills needed to understand and counter modern digital threats.

We are excited to announce that, thanks to the support from Google and Reboot Representation, the CAHSI Student Scholars Program is now open for applications. This program recognizes undergraduate and graduate students who excel in tech exploration, inclusiveness, and community building.

A CAHSI Student Scholar demonstrates excellence in four core areas:

• Professional Development

• Scholarly Achievements

• Community Outreach

• Co-Curricular Activities

Selected scholars will receive a $2,000 stipend and be recognized at the Great Minds in STEM conference.
