Choosing the right middle and high school is one of the biggest decisions a family makes, and it deserves real answers to the right questions.

We put together The 10 Big Questions, a guide that walks through exactly what to ask any school you’re considering—and how CPS answers each one.

Our Comets got a taste of firefighter training during Safety Week! 🚒🔥 They learned important fire safety tips and got an up-close look at the gear and equipment firefighters use.

Thank you to the Guaynabo City Fire & Rescue Department for helping keep our Comets informed and safe! ❤️

CPS celebrated the induction of our 2026–2027 National Honor Society (NHS) and National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) members! 🌟

Aliah Melgen ’27 was sworn in as NHS President, while Monika Monserrate ’30 was sworn in as NJHS President.

Congratulations to all the newly inducted members of our Comet chapters! Membership recognizes their excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

We’re proud of these Comets and look forward to the positive impact they’ll make in our school community and beyond.

Congratulations to our CPS Jr. Student Council and Student Council members on their induction for the 2026–2027 school year! 🎉 Two councils, one shared commitment to leadership and service.

What made this year’s inductions even more special was seeing both councils show up for one another, crossing campuses to celebrate each other’s big moment.

Being part of Student Council means leading with purpose, serving your community, and giving a voice to your peers, a reflection of one of our CPS Values: Lead From Where You Are.

We can’t wait to see how you lead this year! ☄️

Today, CPS marked the International Day of Peace, with students across both campuses learning about the origins and meaning of the observance. Through special assemblies, students and teachers shared powerful messages about how peace is built through empathy, respect, generosity, and the choices we make each day.

Our Jr. Student Council, Student Council, Model United Nations, UNICEF Club, and National Honor Society helped bring the celebration to life. As part of the day’s activities, our students gathered on the field to form a human peace sign, while our Chimes Chorus added a beautiful musical message of hope, inviting us to dream of a more peaceful tomorrow.

Peace may be a hope for the entire world, but it begins in the places where we live, work, and learn. At CPS, our values of Grow and Give and Your Deal Is Greater Than My Deal remind us that peace begins with generosity and choosing others over ego. Through the small acts of kindness we carry out each day, we all help create a more peaceful environment at CPS and the world we live in. 🕊️
