Learning Alliances is committed to providing effective Professional Development and Coaching to educational leaders, school principals and teachers. Through the implementation of diverse leadership and education strategies, effective management skills and at-elbow coaching we expect to contribute to close the achievement gaps on all levels. We are looking for Consultants/Coaches to offer services in Puerto Rico.
Areas of expertise to include: Arts in Education, Educational Leadership, Educational Curriculum, School Social Worker, Educational Counselor, Educational Technology
Qualifications: Education, Experience and Skills:
• Master’s or PhD’s in Education area related preferred
• STEM / STEAM / PBL / PBIS Certified welcome.
• 5+ years of experience at School level (K-12) as teacher, school director or leadership position.
• At least 3 years of experience Coaching teachers or school leaders, and especially in job embedded environment.
• Excellent interpersonal relations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Technology oriented
• Domain of Microsoft Programs
• Domain of the use of technology for offering online services.
• Experience within the Puerto Rico Department of Education preferably
• Excellent consultative skills
• Passionate about coaching educators and student outcomes
Duties:
• Design and facilitate workshops and coaching sessions as required by PRDE
• Prepare training materials when needed.
• Prepare reports as required by PRDE or the Company
• Collect data regarding services to improve professional development services
• Keep abreast effective and innovative Educational strategies
• Able to foresee future needs of participants and prepare accordingly.
• Able have active communication with school directors, leaders and administrators as needed.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious self-starter with strong social media skills and previous sales experience. Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Sale, Coordination and monitoring of professional development workshops in schools of the Department of Education and private schools through the island.
Education/Experience:
• BA in Marketing, Business Administration or Education.
• 2-5 years prior sales experience preferably in educational services.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, internet research tools, domain of the use of technology for offering online services, etc.
• Great written and oral communication skills to interact with clients.
• Strong time and project management skills and able to meet quotas.
• Ability to work well under pressure with minimum supervision · Ability to present ideas, negotiate and problem solve · Able to travel around the island (must have own transportation) · Bilingual
