The Tri-M Music Honor Society at TASIS Dorado continues to make an impact through music.

What began last year under Carlos Delgado (President) and Ariana Rivera (Vice President) with the 2024–2025 Board now lives on through Diego Baños (President), Derick Chen (Vice President), and the 2025–2026 Board.

The instruments collected were donated to Escuela Superior Adolfina Irizarry de Puig in Toa Baja, received by Mr. Juan De Jesús, a former TASIS Dorado student-teacher now inspiring young musicians of his own. That’s the true harmony of service through music. .ad.23 .rivera426

Today, Mr. Hector Aponte from the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music visited TASIS Dorado to share their academic offerings with our students. We’re grateful for his time, insight, and inspiration.

Behind every great sound there’s a little workshop magic. From tightening up solder joints for a clean bass tone to fitting fresh corks for a smooth clarinet seal — every detail counts. It’s all about bringing instruments back to life so the music never stops.

Jobaniel Pérez (Class of 2016) visited our Intro to Jazz (Mr. Jonathan) and Jazz Music Theory (Mr. Joel) classes, sharing his TASIS journey and how music shaped his path. Today, is an intellectual property attorney in New York City.

Full circle moment. An alumna returned to share her journey studying music, inspiring our students with her story and passion. The TASIS Dorado Music Program continues harvesting what we’ve planted.

Thanks to the training at CIOMiT in Colorado, USA (where TASIS Dorado sent Mr. Jonathan), he’s now repairing many of our instruments — from soldering trumpets to replacing corks — keeping the music alive, strong, and sounding GREAT!”
