We would like to thank Dr. Selana M. Rodríguez Rivera for her conference on Sexual Health & HIV Care, who also took into consideration the population who are affected by sexual assault.

We also thank the faculty members present in this conference, showing their devotion in their professions and specifically in their fields as immunologists and sexual assault forensics medical examiner, Dr. Martha García and Dr. Linda Laras, respectively.

Sexual Health and HIV Care with Dr Rodriguez Rivera @ 7PM Puerto Rico time. What an awesome way to start the year! Please join us in our next conference. Dr Rodriguez is a highly qualified physician an ID an honor to have her meet with us virtually. She completed her medical school at UPR, MedPeds residency at Wayne State University/ Detroit Medical Center, where she was chief medical resident. She is currently completing a HIV Clinical Fellowship and an Academic and Administrative Fellowship program. Google meets link will be provided in our institution email. If you are not part of SJB and would love to attend please send us a message!

Join us for our next online event with Dr Joanie Figueroa. She will be discussing CBC interpretation and IV fluids. This is an excellent event to attend for anyone that is faced with analyzing patient labs and administering IV fluids. Dr Figueroa is an alumni from SJB and it’s a MedPeds PGY-1 at UPR. We are excited to have her back again with us! Meeting time Thursday 22nd, 2022 9AM PR time / 8AM ET. Meeting link will be distributed soon via our institutional email. Anyone outside our institution wanting to attend please message us for the link.

Fundraiser for hygiene products, clothes, and toys! Hogar Cuna San Cristobal is a shelter for children ages 0-7 that are candidates for adoption. It is located in Caguas, PR. 💯% of the funds will be used to purchase the supplies the shelter has designated as a need. Please consider donating. No amount is too small! 🫶🏼 Happy Holidays!
