Last night we had yet another remarkable meeting with the greatest Doctoras Pico y Tort. We are beyond lucky to have such amazing doctors to show us the ins and outs of visual development!

Hi Everyone! I hope you all have been having a wonderful weekend. I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who came out on Thursday Night to the Club Fair and visited COVD. If anyone has any questions or wants to be a COVD 1st or 2nd year liaison please feel free to contact me.

Some key points about COVD (College of Optometrists in Vision Development:

COVD membership is FREEEEEEE! Our club is very active throughout
If you are interested in being a COVD liaison please send a letter of intent to [email protected].
We have limited participation monthly meetins with Dra. Pico and Dra. Tort and the next event is October 20th. So mark your calendars because these meetings at their office are AMAZING and SOOO MUCH FUN (I am not just saying that)
There is an annual COVD event in April in Toronto which you can receive a scholarship for
We sell pediatric kits which I HIGHLY suggest eveyone has for screenings and clinic, the spinner has been a lifesaver for me when doing BIO, and the occluding glasses are the beset for VAs
I am in the works of having a few extra really cool speakers such as Dra. Kanevsky (if you follow ODs on FB you know her), Dr. Adams (who reviews really interesting clinic cases) and a COVD Dr. from Children's hospital of Philadelphia.
