A high school robotics team built a wheelchair for a toddler who couldn’t afford one. ❤️
For many families, specialized mobility equipment can be extremely expensive. When a two-year-old child needed a wheelchair costing nearly $20,000, the cost was simply too high for his family to manage.
A local high school robotics team heard about the challenge and decided to help. Using engineering skills and creative design, the students built a custom mobility device that allowed the child to move independently and safely.
The project became more than just a technical challenge. It showed how innovation, teamwork, and compassion can come together to improve someone’s life in a meaningful way.
