👨🏻‍✈️ Private Pilot, Hector Alejandro Sanchez-Acevedo, passed today his “Instrument Rating” Practical Test 🥳
An instrument rating authorizes a pilot to operate an aircraft under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR). Now able to file & fly IFR flight plans when the weather conditions are less than 1,000-foot cloud ceilings or 3 miles visibility = Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC).

Other Key Instrument Rating Privileges include;
♦️ Class A Airspace: Access airspace above 18,000 feet MSL.
♦️ Instrument Approaches: Perform authorized IFR approaches to land at airports.
♦️ Night Operations: Perform special VFR at night.
🛩️ Professional Advancement: Required for most commercial, charter, and airline jobs.
