𝐷𝑒𝑎𝑟 𝐶𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑔𝑢𝑒𝑠,

IATEFL Poland and Ron Mukerji, ELT specialist, educator, and trainer,
have the pleasure to invite you to the webinar:

“𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵: 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘁𝘀”
which will take place on Thursday, 14th of May 2026, from 20.30 to 21.30 CEST.

𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆:
The webinar explores how audio prompts can be used to stimulate storytelling and develop speaking skills in the language classroom. It highlights the pedagogical value of storytelling as a tool for engagement, creativity, and meaningful communication.

It demonstrates how teachers can use short audio inputs (e.g. sounds, voices, dialogues, or soundscapes) to trigger learners’ imagination and encourage them to construct their own narratives. These prompts help reduce reliance on traditional text-based materials and instead promote multimodal learning and active listening.

𝐷𝑒𝑎𝑟 𝐶𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑔𝑢𝑒𝑠,

IATEFL Poland and Glenn Standish have the pleasure to invite you to the webinar:

“𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀.”
which will take place on Wednesday, 6th of May 2026, from 20.30 to 21.30 CEST.

𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆:
It is all very well writing a new word up on the board and getting the students to record in their notebooks. However, without regular consolidation and repetition this new language will simply go through one ear and out of the other.

In this fun, interactive workshop I will present a variety of ways to help consolidate lexis and make sure that it stays retained in the student’s lexical mind bank.

Hello, May! 🌸
A new month has arrived, and with it, the final stretch of the academic year. May is often the busiest time for educators—balancing exam prep, final assessments, and that growing "end-of-term" energy in the classroom.

As we dive into the month, let’s remember to take a moment for ourselves. Whether it’s a quick walk in the sun or a coffee break with a colleague, a little bit of "May magic" goes a long way.

What’s on your teaching agenda this month?

🎓 Final exam countdown?
🌱 Planning outdoor lessons?
📚 Catching up on professional development?

Share your May goals with the IATEFL Poland community in the comments below!

𝐷𝑒𝑎𝑟 𝐶𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑔𝑢𝑒𝑠,

IATEFL Poland and Anna Laura Kowalska have the pleasure to invite you to the webinar:

“𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.”
which will take place on Wednesday, 29th of April 2026, from 20.30 to 21.30 CET.
Summary:

This webinar explores Nonviolent Communication as a brain-friendly approach that promotes calm, clarity, and constructive dialogue in the classroom. It also introduces Transactional Analysis as a practical lens for understanding the hidden interaction patterns and “games” that often shape teacher–student communication.

Many teachers feel caught between conflicting expectations: supporting the system, responding to students’ needs, and protecting their own boundaries. This session offers clarity, awareness, and practical insight into these dynamics. By recognizing communication patterns that escalate tension, educators can make more conscious choices in everyday interactions.
