On the second day in Estonia we talked and showed our partners non-formal education approaches for students with special needs.

Lithuania gave us a lecture about the use of innovative technologies for students with special educational needs.

We also had a tour in our beautiful Tartu and finished the night in the gunpowder cellar with a traditional Estonian dish.

A big thank you from 🇪🇪 to all of our partners for the great experience, especially to the Polish team who coordinated, inspired and gave us valuable support and knowledge on this journey.

Today, 🇪🇪 welcomed project partners from 🇹🇷, 🇱🇹, and 🇵🇱.
We began with a tour of the school, followed by the presentation of a band of teachers from the Tartu Herbert Masing school and to the joint performance by the German and Estonian students.

Additionally, we attended a Turkish lecture on "What is Inclusive Education and How to Create an Inclusive Educational Environment?"
We spent part of the day drafting a report on the project.
To wrap up, we learned how to bake rye bread and explored the Estonian Agricultural Museum.

🇪🇪 In the spring, a recycling competition for students and teachers was launched.

🌱 The things that participated in the competition are all worthy of a reward, but this time the 2nd grade student Solveig, who made a plant growing box from a broken plastic box, was deservedly awarded with a sweatshirt.

💦 Teacher Siret made a unique watering can from a detergent bottle.

❤️ Thanks to all participants and good luck for further creative projects!

Today, the "Wastewater and its Purification" environmental theme day took place in Tartu Herbert Masingu School.

A certified water supply and sanitation engineer working at the University of Tartu and the company of Aqua Consult Baltic OÜ, Aimar Kivirüüt, told us:
💧 about drinking water
💧 when drinking water becomes wastewater
💧 about wastewater treatment
💧 principles and approaches of the world
💧 showed us an experiment!
💧 about the future (water recycling and fertilizer)
💧 what can each of us do to save vital resources?

After that, we watched the documentary "Holy S**t. Can P**p Save the World?".

In Poland we can finally eat things that have grown in our school garden! What a pleasure!

💦 We drank from the source of Emaläte spring.
⚡️ We looked at the Saesaare hydroelectric plant, which has now ceased operations, and talked about how this is one way to generate electricity using renewable energy.
