📢 EUPopLink COST Action CA23102 Workshop at the University of Wrocław

On 5-7 September 2026, the Institute of Political Science at the University of Wrocław will host an international workshop organised within the framework of EUPopLink COST Action CA23102 – Linking Euroscepticism and Populism.

Over three days, researchers from across Europe will discuss the relationship between populism and Euroscepticism, presenting the latest findings on citizens' attitudes, political elites, party politics, and the future of European integration.

📍 Venue: Room 144, Institute of International Studies and Security, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Wrocław, Koszarowa 3, Wrocław, Poland.

The workshop is locally organised by Piotr Sula (University of Wrocław), who serves as Vice Chair of COST Action CA23102 EUPopLink.

We warmly invite everyone interested in populism, Euroscepticism, and the future of European integration to join us and take part in the discussions.

University of Wrocław PhD Researcher Joins Maastricht University as a Visiting Research Fellow.

We are pleased to share that Shirak Safaryan, a PhD researcher at the University of Wrocław, has been appointed as a Visiting Research Fellow at the Graduate School and the Centre for European Research (CERiM), Maastricht University.

During his research stay, Shirak will collaborate with leading scholars at CERiM, including Professor Giselle Bosse, and further develop his research on European foreign policy, EU enlargement, and the European Union's role as a global actor.

This visiting fellowship reflects the University of Wrocław's commitment to supporting international academic cooperation and research excellence. It also provides an opportunity to strengthen collaboration between the University of Wrocław and Maastricht University while contributing to ongoing scholarly discussions on European affairs.

We congratulate Shirak on this achievement and wish him a productive and successful research stay at Maastricht University.
