Where do the questions come from? 🎯
✅ Technical interviews
Throughout my career as a software developer and architect, I have been responsible for recruiting and growing development teams. Over the years, I have come to understand the kinds of questions that help to distinguish between experienced developers and those who are new to the IT field or lack a broad base of knowledge.
Years later, I decided to document these questions and make them available in an easily accessible form for learning and review purposes. At times, I was also on the other side of the table as a candidate. Knowing what kind of questions to expect enabled me to secure high-paying jobs at some of the largest IT companies.
✅ Books, video courses, articles
The questions on Flip Cards have also been drawn from popular JavaScript programming books by Kyle Simpson, David Flanagan, Douglas Crockford and others. You can also expect numerous questions from high-quality video courses by Maximilian Schwarzmüller and Stephen Grider. Sources also include many articles from Medium, Dev.to and other developer portals. I even review StackOverflow questions to find the most challenging ones!
✅ Social network of experienced professionals
Having a wide social network has helped me to better understand the recruitment process in large IT corporations. Through exchanging ideas with my colleagues, I have gained insight into the secrets of interviewing in some of the biggest IT companies on the continent. All of these experiences are reflected in the questions you will find on FlipCards.
