The mission of IPS is to support students in becoming responsible global citizens who will take over the role of local and global leaders by mastering crucial 21st century skills. Respect, tolerance, reflection, sensitivity and agency are to be the core values in building global citizenship among IPS students. IPS Playschool provides early education for students ages 3-6, taught in English by Native Speakers with a holistic approach and focus on the whole child with curricula from the IB Primary Years Programme, Cambridge International Assessment, and the Polish National Curriculum. IPS Playschool students enjoy an isolated learning zone and play area designed specifically to meet the needs of young active learners. IPS Primary serves students age 6-12 offering Grade 1 – 5 and IPS Lower Secondary caters to students age 11-14, Grade 6-8, both groups are instructed using the IB Primary Years Programme, Cambridge International Assessment, and the Polish National Curriculum. The IPS Primary and Secondary zone offers modern and spacious areas equipped with modern state of the art classrooms, arts and sciences facilities, a recording studio, media center, study areas, and individual work stations. In addition, the space boasts an exclusive dining area and playground dedicated to students aged 6-14. The IPS Athletics zone is a modern sports center. Our full size gym enables the practice of team sports and the auxiliary gym offers spaces for judo, fitness, yoga, acrobatics and gymnastics practice. IPS Upper Secondary is uniquely suited for young adults age 14-18, Grade 9-12, following the Cambridge IGCSE and A-Levels, as well as offering preparation for the Polish Matura Exam. Upper Secondary students enjoy a first of its kind fully integrated campus with all the amenities of a modern workspace, featuring a technologically rich environment where collaborative spaces, individual study areas, and social spaces are utilized for learning. IPS Music School offers Instrumental and Vocal Lesson Curricula, in English or Polish, curated on an individual basis to be appropriate for each student's age and capabilities by our faculty of highly accomplished music professionals. Music theory is included in every course according to the ABRSM and Trinity Assessment standards and is tested along with performance abilities twice a year during the IPS “Audition” process. The music school is open to the entire IPS Community and the International Community and offers lessons to all ages, preschool thru adulthood. IPS was established in 2011 as a small international preschool, offering education in English to students aged 2-6. In 2012, IPS opened a location offering early childhood education. In order to offer our students a continuation into primary education at IPS, the IPS Primary & Lower Secondary School was opened, in 2014. In 2017, IPS opened a newly constructed campus of 2800 sqm, which was enriched with an additional 400 sqm, at the end of 2020. In 2015, IPS was accredited as an IB World Candidate School in the PYP program and was successfully authorized in the beginning of 2018. In April 2016, the school was also authorized by Cambridge Assessment International in the Primary & Lower Secondary program. Currently IPS is the leading international school in Wroclaw. The form can be found at ipschool.pl To begin the admissions process, both Parents and the student are required to fill out an IPS Application for admission form which will be discussed at an individual meeting. The form outlines the student’s educational history as well as the student’s current academic level and contact information. IPS Student placements are determined by a comparison of the Polish, American, and British Educational Systems as well as the student’s age and birth date. Guided by the school’s mission, prioritizing Respect, Reflection, and Responsibility, IPS is committed to a fair and transparent admissions process. We admit students at any point in the academic year.

IPS Grade 12 Graduation 2026 🎓🌟
Last Saturday, we celebrated a truly special moment in IPS history as our Grade 12 students graduated and reached the end of an incredible chapter of their educational journey.
Surrounded by family, friends, and teachers, our graduates reflected on years of learning, growth, friendships, and achievements. It was a day filled with pride, gratitude, laughter, and a few happy tears as we recognised all they have accomplished and looked ahead to the exciting opportunities that await them.
To our graduates: thank you for the memories, the determination, and the positive impact you have made on our school community. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you and can’t wait to see where your next adventures take you.

IPS Shakespeare Festival 🎭✨
Last week, 25 talented students from Grades 6–10 took to the stage at our Upper Secondary Campus for the IPS Shakespeare Festival.
The audience enjoyed a fantastic range of performances from Antony and Cleopatra, Romeo and Juliet, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Every student brought energy, dedication, and personality to their role, creating performances that were both moving and genuinely funny.
Congratulations to all our performers for their hard work and courage on stage.

On Friday, June 12th, our Upper Secondary Campus proudly hosted our annual edition of TEDxIPS Wrocław Youth! Across two powerful sessions, our community came together to listen to 15 incredible speakers sharing big ideas and inspiring stories.
The presentations covered a wide range of fascinating and timely topics, including AI, empowerment, migration, literature, fashion, and more, giving us all a lot of meaningful thoughts to reflect on as the school year comes to a close.
We are so proud of our student speakers from Grades 8 to 11, as well as Mrs. Roleen and Mr. Francis, for taking the stage so brilliantly.
A huge thank you to our dedicated student organizers, Jakub Łacek, Szymon Ignaczak, and Alexandra Burton, for putting this event together. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Eirini Aivaliotou for her wonderful support, guidance, and mentorship throughout the journey.

Grade 5 PYP Exhibition 2026 🎓✨
Last Monday evening, our Grade 5 students proudly presented their PYP Exhibition, the culminating experience of their Primary Years Programme journey.
Through months of inquiry, research, collaboration, and action, they explored issues that matter to them and shared their learning with confidence, creativity, and purpose. The Exhibition was a wonderful celebration of their growth as independent learners, critical thinkers, and global citizens.
A heartfelt thank you to our teachers and mentors for guiding and inspiring our students throughout this journey, and to our parents and families for their constant encouragement, support, and partnership.

Science or magic? Why not both! 🫧✨
Last week, our IPS Playschool stepped into a world of wonder with an incredible Bubble Show. We didn’t just see standard bubbles—we saw giant smoke-filled bubbles, fiery bursts, and hands-on illusions that left everyone (including the teachers!) completely amazed.
Days like this remind us how beautiful it is to watch children discover the world with total wonder.
