We have started the enrolments for the URBAN MINING full-time second-cycle MSc program.

Urban mining is recovering valuable raw materials from used products (e.g., vehicles, electronic equipment 📱💻🖨💿📸📺🪫), installations, buildings, and various manufactured infrastructures. It is a method of recycling secondary raw materials which sees valuable deposits wherever people have left a trace of their activity. Mines for urban mining are all human creations that are no longer used. Although urban mining appeared in scientific terminology as early as the 1980s, the phenomenon it describes is today one of the more rapidly spreading global trends.
Urban mining constitutes an interdisciplinary research area, covering different methods to extract valuable substances from anthropogenic wastes.
