🌿🐒 Rainforest Showcase in Class 4B! 🦜🌳

On Friday, Class 4B proudly presented their rainforest projects, demonstrating everything they have learned throughout the unit. The students amazed us with their creativity, incorporating impressive 3D elements and sharing a wealth of fascinating rainforest facts.

It was fantastic to see their hard work, research skills, and enthusiasm shine through in each presentation. We are incredibly proud of the effort and dedication they showed from start to finish.

🚴‍♂️ Success at the 3rd Warsaw Elementary School Cycling Championships! 🚴‍♀️

The 3rd Warsaw Elementary School Cycling Championships recently took place at the PGE Narodowy grounds, bringing together young cyclists from across the capital. Our school was proudly represented by a strong team of students who competed with determination, ambition, and great sportsmanship in their respective age categories.

A special congratulations goes to Bruno Kremer, who delivered an outstanding performance in the 12-year-old category. Bruno made a bold tactical choice by competing on a road bike rather than the more commonly used mountain bike. Despite the technically demanding course and the challenges posed by his equipment choice, he showed excellent form throughout the race.

Competing against 48 riders from across Warsaw, Bruno achieved an impressive 14th-place finish, standing out as one of the strongest competitors in the field.

We are incredibly proud of Bruno and all our students who represented the school so well. Congratulations on your hard work, determination, and excellent performances!

This semester, our Grade 8 students explored the world of advertising through an engaging civics project!

They investigated how commercials influence the way people think and make decisions, created an exhibition on the features and functions of advertising, analysed real-world campaigns, and even designed their own commercials for randomly selected products.

Through this project, students strengthened their critical thinking, media literacy, creativity, teamwork, and communication skills while gaining a deeper understanding of the impact of advertising in today's world. 👏

Class 5A capped off an incredible academic year by becoming authors! Students wrote their own multi-chapter stories and transformed them into books, proudly showcasing their imagination, storytelling skills, and hard work.

Yesterday, the Wilanów Cultural Centre hosted the annual awards ceremony recognizing the district’s top young athletes.

We are proud to share that Lena Burczyńska, a student from Class 7A, was among the distinguished award recipients 🏅

Lena is passionate about competitive alpine skiing and regularly achieves impressive sporting results ⛷️ Her recent accomplishments include:

• 3rd place in the 2025 Warsaw Youth Olympics – Warsaw Championships for Youth and Junior Athletes in the Giant Slalom (GS),

• 2nd place in the 2025 Warsaw Youth Olympics – Warsaw Championships for Youth and Junior Athletes in the Combined Event.

We are delighted that Lena’s hard work, dedication, and sporting achievements have been recognized and appreciated by the district authorities. Congratulations, Lena! We wish you continued success and great satisfaction in pursuing your passion. 🏆🎿👏

What a fantastic way to end the school year! ☀️🎉

Our Year 7 (Class 6) students enjoyed a wonderful end-of-year picnic filled with games, laughter, great food, and plenty of memorable moments with friends. It was the perfect opportunity to celebrate all of their hard work and achievements throughout the year.

Letters to the future! 💌 Class 7a 🌸

One of our class traditions in 7A is writing letters to our future selves in September. During one of our first homeroom lessons, each student writes a letter to themselves, describing their dreams, goals for the new school year, concerns, plans, and the values they want to follow. The letters are then sealed in envelopes and stored away safely, without being opened throughout the year.

We open them only in June, just before the end of the school year. It is a special moment of reflection that allows students to see how much has happened over the past months. They can check which goals they achieved, which dreams came true, and how much they have grown and changed as individuals. Often, problems that seemed overwhelming in September are no longer important, while goals that once felt distant have become reality.

Today was that day! 🎉

After more than 9 years with Edison International School, our beloved Mrs. Alinka is beginning her well-deserved retirement.

Throughout these years, she has been so much more than a member of our staff. She has been warmth, kindness, and a sense of safety. For many children, she was the first smile they saw in the morning; for parents, a symbol of care and trust; and for all of us, someone who felt like the school’s grandmother.

People like Mrs. Alinka are the true heart of a school. They may not appear in rankings or statistics, but they are the reason children feel seen, valued, and safe.

Dear Mrs. Alinka, thank you for the countless small acts of kindness, for your patience, your generosity, and your unwavering presence. Thank you for helping shape Edison and making it not just a school, but a home.

What a day!
Thank you to all the families who visited our new Edison International School Ursus campus today. Your presence, curiosity, and positive energy made this Open Day truly special.

We are delighted that parents appreciated our modern facilities, educational approach, and curriculum based on bilingual education, international standards, and the development of 21st-century skills.
What brought us the greatest joy, however, was watching the children—their smiles, enthusiasm, and excitement during the workshops. It is for them that we are creating a place where learning inspires, nurtures growth, and empowers young minds.
