Luna: “Great work, everyone! Now that you know how to ask, ‘How are you?,’ let’s move on to introducing ourselves.”
Max: “Yes! When we meet someone new, we say, ‘What’s your name?’ and we answer with, ‘My name is…’ Let’s look at the screen.”
(The glowing board now displays: “What’s your name?” and “My name is…”)
Luna: “Say it with me, everyone: ‘What’s your name?’”
Students (together): “What’s your name?”
Max: “Very good! Now say, ‘My name is...’ and add your name.”
Students (smiling): “My name is…”
Luna (pointing to a student): “Let’s practice! What’s your name?”
Student 1: “My name is Elif.”
Max: “Hello, Elif! Nice to meet you.”
Luna: “Now, Elif, ask someone else!”
Student 1 (turning to another): “What’s your name?”
Student 2: “My name is Jonas.”
Max: “Excellent! Now, pair up and take turns asking and answering.”
(The classroom fills with the sound of friendly practice: “What’s your name?” “My name is Alex.” “Nice to meet you!”)
Luna (smiling): “You’re doing so well! Speaking English every day, even just a little, helps you improve quickly.”
Max: “And remember, speaking confidently is more important than speaking perfectly. Don’t worry about mistakes!”
Students (laughing gently): “Okay!”
Luna: “We’ll keep practicing, but now let’s have a fun activity to use what we’ve learned.”
Max: “A short introduction game! You’ll introduce yourself and ask the person next to you how they are.”
