Accelerate Transversal Competences

Professor Gerhard-Wilhelm Weber during his stay in Indonesia introduced the project „The acceleration method of development of transversal competences in the students’ practical training proces” implemented as part of the Erasmus + program. Researchers from Asia are interested in implementing an innovative method developed as part of the project by researchers from 6 universities from 4 European countries, which supports the acceleration of development of cross-cutting competences of students.

We are very pleased to inform that the project “The acceleration method of development of transversal competences in the students’ practical training process” which was implemented as part of the AWT® initiative, due to high quality content and exemplary management was evaluated as high and considered as a good practice example by National Agency. 14th of November, 2018 in the Centre of Enterpreneurship at the Management Faculty of University of Warsaw, the III Meeting of the departments of entrepreneurship and innovation took place. Faculty of Engineering and Management of Poznan University of Technology was represented by Małgorzata Spychała Eng. PhD. who on behalf of Maciej Szafrański, Eng. Yesterday we had a great meeting at Akademia Morska w Szczecinie. We had an opportunity to talk about IO 8 - the method is the result of work carried out in the financed project within the Erasmus+ Program. It was an honor to meet with Professor Izabela Kotowska.

The method is the result of work carried out in the financed project within the Erasmus+ Program. The solution is to help students or future employees of companies but it can also be used in the education of students and lifelong learning. The method is presented in the Guide for implementation. It can be used by the teacher during classes with students.

We have prepared the guide in the form of a presentation, which makes it easier to use it. The guide has active links that help you get to know the solution in detail. The publication contains specific examples of implementation of the method by a team of experts – Project Partners from Poznan University of Technology, Centria University of Applied Sciences, Czestochowa University of Technology, JEDU Educational Federation, University of Maribor – Faculty of Economics and Business, Matej Bel University, Banska Bystrica, University of Economics in Wroclaw and Western Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gorzow Wielkopolski.

We are pleased to present you the result which is the key result in development the final version of The acceleration method of development of transversal competences in the students’ practical training process. On basis of the results of testing of the processes representatives of the partners’ institutions developed the analysis of these results. To remind you: the processes were developed within IO5 and then tested within IO6. In analysis mentioned above also the factors which may have an influence on results of applying processes, were taken into account.
