Keynote Presentation at the Plenary Session “Rebuilding Ukraine: A Major Strategic Discussion” 🇺🇦🇪🇺
I am honoured to be a Keynote Speaker at the plenary session “Rebuilding Ukraine: A Major Strategic Discussion”, which will take place at the International University, Ukraine, in Odesa, 2026.
My presentation is entitled: “European Studies as an Instrument for Ukraine’s Recovery: Digital Education, Multilingual Integration, and Visual Communication in the ESPERIDTA, ROAD2EU, and VISUAL-EU Projects.”
In this talk, I will focus on how European Studies can become a practical tool for Ukraine’s recovery by connecting digital education, multilingual inclusion, visual communication, and EU-oriented academic cooperation.
The presentation will also highlight the experience of VIZJA University in Warsaw, Poland, and Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University in Ukraine, showing how international projects can support new educational models, strengthen academic resilience, and contribute to Ukraine’s European future.

Honoured to Speak Tomorrow at the Conference on Academic Culture of the Researcher 🎓✨
Tomorrow, 14 May 2026 at 10:00 (Warsaw time), I will have the honour of speaking as a keynote speaker at the IX International Scientific and Practical Conference “Academic Culture of the Researcher in the Educational Space: European and National Experience” at Sumy State A. S. Makarenko Pedagogical University (Ukraine) 🇺🇦
My presentation is entitled: “From Grant to Academic Ecosystem: The Culture of International Partnership”
During the conference, we will speak about an issue that is becoming increasingly important in contemporary academia: how international cooperation grows from individual grant initiatives into broader academic ecosystems built on trust, shared values, institutional dialogue, and long-term partnership 🌍📚
For me, this is also an opportunity to reflect on the culture of academic collaboration itself — on how projects, mobility, research cooperation, and educational initiatives help shape not only results, but also a deeper culture of responsibility, openness, and international academic engagement 🤝✨
I am sincerely grateful for the invitation and looking forward to this meaningful academic exchange.

ESPERIDTA Summer School 2026: A Note on Two Weeks of Academic Work, Student Engagement, and Digital European Studies 🇪🇺📚
From 9 to 22 March 2026, ESPERIDTA Summer School 2026 was conducted at VIZJA University as an intensive academic initiative bringing together students, lecturers, and interdisciplinary perspectives on Europe in the context of digital transformation ✨
Over the course of the Summer School, participants worked through several key thematic units that form the academic core of the project:
🔹 European Studies through Digital European Languages Policies
🔹 European Studies through Digital Historical Developments
🔹 European Studies through Digital Political Science
🔹 European Studies through Digital European Law
🔹 European Studies through Digital Management
These thematic units allowed students to approach European Studies not as an abstract field, but as a dynamic and interconnected area of knowledge shaped by language, history, politics, law, management, and today’s digital realities 💻🌍
A particularly memorable part of the Summer School was the students’ own contribution — especially their presentations, which showed serious preparation, academic maturity, intellectual curiosity, and a genuine willingness to engage with complex European topics. Their work gave the Summer School its real energy and academic meaning 👏🎓
The Summer School was delivered by the academic team consisting of Dr. Habil. Yan Kapranov, Dr. Bożena Iwanowska, Dr. Dawid Stadniczeńko, and Dr. Habil. Olena Pimenova 🤝 Their joint work helped create a productive educational environment in which interdisciplinary teaching, discussion, and student participation could come together in a meaningful way.
At the end of the Summer School, participants received certificates recognising their engagement and their prepared project work 🏅
This Summer School was conducted within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module “European Studies for Supporting Polish Education and Research in Digital Transformation: Interdisciplinary Approach” (ESPERIDTA; Grant Agreement No. 101172710 — ERASMUS-JMO-2024-HEI-TCH-RSCH), funded by the European Union through the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) under the powers delegated by the European Commission.
All photos of the Summer School participants are published in accordance with the signed participant declaration and consent form.
