The best way to understand culture in a foreign country? Look at the ads 👀

In Thailand, I noticed lots of beauty ads = huge passion for skincare and decorative makeup. There is also a booming interest in social media marketing, and tons of young people dreaming of becoming bloggers📱

One thing that’s not as popular, imo? Reading. I came across just one tiny bookstore in the airport with a pretty random book selection.

Meanwhile, air conditioning is a big deal—to the point where people wear sweaters indoors even when it’s 28°C! If you wanna spot travelers, they usually wear shorts, linen shirts and Birkenstocks. And they are cold inside)

And let’s talk about 7/11—one of the most popular grocery stores, packed with all kinds of chips and snacks. The flavors? Absolutely wild! 😋

По ВВП Бразилія випереджає Україну майже вдвічі, але так і не скажеш з першого погляду. В нас, навіть попри війну рівень життя набагато кращий. У СП багато бідних районів і рівень злочинності просто зашкалює, але і багато добрих людей і вуличного мистецтва. Є баланс 🤝
