Witamy na stronie Instytutu Slawistyki PAN! The Institute of Slavic Studies was founded in 1954.

It employs an academic staff engaged in research in the fields of linguistics, literature, culture, history and anthropology. Interdisciplinary subjects as well as those from other fields of study are also included. Employees are working on statutory subjects and on external grants, individually as well as in teams. The Slavic Institute employees are engaged in work in academic centers in both Poland as well as abroad and since 2001 they are also involved in the Institute’s PhD courses.
