82 years ago today, the elite men of the 2nd and 5th Ranger Battalions faced the impossible at Omaha Beach and the cliffs of Pointe du Hoc.

Our friends at Tours of Duty are doing a Virtual Ruck!
Come and join them for this event on their fanpage!

Ruck 5 miles in their boots.

Join the D-Day 82 Virtual Ruck and complete the approximate distance from Omaha Beach to Pointe du Hoc — wherever you are — alongside Tours of Duty members walking the actual ground in Normandy.

Ruck, walk, hike, or run now through June 7 to honor D-Day, raise awareness for the POW/MIA mission, and support search and recovery efforts for America’s missing servicemembers.

Participants may dedicate their ruck in someone’s name and create or join a fundraising team.

More than 72,000 Americans remain missing from WWII alone.

Five miles. One promise.
Their courage. Our commitment.

Together with Historical Association Big Red One Poland SNAFU GRH Five-O-Deuce Grupa Rekonstrukcji Historycznej "Green Light" Muzeum Festung Glogau East & West and KVH Red Eagles, we participated in a History Incubator event organized by Pionier 39!

We had the honor of joining Tours of Duty on a 8 mile Hike alongside the Normandy coast from Omaha Beach to Pointe du Hoc!
