A zatem poinformujmy, że wśród nagrodzonych grantami na dofinansowanie działań badawczych w konkursie OPUS 30 znalazł się prof. Piotr Balcerowicz z Katedry Azji Południowej z projektem zatytułowanym "Sceptycy w starożytnych Indiach i Grecji. (Nie)możliwe związki." Gratulujemy!

Łączna kwota na realizację 55 projektów (22 w konkursie SONATA 21 i 33 w konkursie OPUS 30) wynosi ponad 95 mln złotych 🥳

🇬🇧 As many as 55 researchers from the University of Warsaw have been awarded grants to support their research projects through the OPUS 30 and SONATA 21 funding schemes organized by the National Science Centre 👏

The total funding awarded for 55 projects (22 under SONATA 21 and 33 under OPUS 30) amounts to more than PLN 95 million 🥳

📚 We are thrilled to share Dr. Philipp Maas's newly published open-access article—a landmark annotated translation and working edition of the Pātañjalayogaśāstra's third chapter (Vibhūtipāda), based on previously unstudied manuscript witnesses.

In a touching footnote, Dr. Maas thanks Yogic Studies and our Sanskrit reading students—particularly Alexandr Fardeev—whose questions and philosophical discussions directly shaped the materials that went into this article. We are honored to have played a small role in this landmark publication, and eagerly await the publication of the complete edition and translation of the Pātañjalayogaśāstra in the coming years.
