The covid pandemic has ruined many research plans, but still we try to move forward and do our job. Members of our team are right now working in Romania in our "sister" geophysical project on the Roman forts in the Banat region

In these difficult times, it is especially hard to be a scientist locked down in your house and unable to do your research... To all Friends & Followers of the Project, stay safe! We miss you all! And also have a little laugh about this story of one bored researcher :)

Meanwhile our friends from Tibiscum Project have an interesting announcement about Polish-Romanian research in Banat!
🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Dear Friends and Followers,
As you may have seen, recently we have concluded the Tibiscum Project with a publication of the article resuming all that we have done between 2014 and 2016 ( https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/arp.1767 ). We could say that right now Tibiscum Project is officially finished, but...
As we have already informed, this is not the end of Polish-Romanian research on the Roman forts in Caras-Severin!
Since we have been granted a funding for further research, concerning studies over geophysical methods in relation with geological and soil conditions, we would like to announce that we will continue our mission under the new brand: UNDERSTANDING THE ANOMALY (UTA) PROJECT: Roman Forts of Banat!
We are also happy to announce that we expand our collaboration to new Romanian institutions! Faculty of Geology, University of Warsaw is about to establish a cooperation with our new partners: Museum of the Highland Banat in Resita Muzeul Banatului Montan Resita, National Museum of Banat in Timisoara Muzeul Național al Banatului and Centre for Applied Geomorphology and Interdisciplinary Research CGACI of Universitatea de Vest din Timișoara! We also keep our cooperation with our friends from Muzeul Caransebes
We hope that UTA Project will bring a lot of great results which will become an important contribution into protection of the Cultural Heritage of Romania!

Drodzy przyjaciele i obserwujący nasz profil,
