Reprezentując inne pokolenie i inną drogę zawodową, oprócz trzydziestu lat pracy w holotropowym paradygmacie wnosiła swoje doświadczenie w obszarze psychoterapii oraz treningów dotyczących relacji międzyludzkich.
The recently completed module, “Within the Labyrinth: Exploring COEX Systems,” which we had the opportunity to organize in Poland, was an encounter with the concept of systems of condensed experience developed years ago by Stanislav Grof, as well as with two exceptional teachers: Sitara Blasco and Tomek Kwieciński.
Although Tomek is a highly experienced lecturer and workshop facilitator, this was his debut in this role during a Holotropic Training module. We are proud to say that he brought to this event extensive knowledge from many different fields, remarkable mental agility and acuity, and an ability to recognize connections between seemingly unrelated topics. His particular strength is his ability to extract complex material, organize it, and present it in a clear, vivid, and engaging way. During his lectures, the group listened with great attention—not only because of the wealth of information, but also because it was presented within a clear structure and broader context.
In his part of the module, Tomek focused on our biographies and on the connections between work in expanded states and schema therapy. He discussed the phenomena of transpersonal COEX systems, showing how systems of condensed experience can extend beyond personal biography and open up a perspective on the deeper, transpersonal dimensions of human experience. He also described in detail the paradoxes of the transmodulation and integration of COEX systems, explaining what distinguishes lasting changes from temporary ones, when such changes can be expected, and when they are unlikely to happen quickly. His way of thinking made it possible to view Grof’s theory from many different angles—with precision, breadth, and, at the same time, great freshness.
Sitara facilitated a module with us for the fifth time (and we have lost count of how many she has facilitated around the world). Representing a different generation and a different professional path, she brought not only thirty years of work within the Holotropic paradigm, but also her experience in psychotherapy and interpersonal relationship training. Her perspective and practices related to COEX systems in the interpersonal dimension, as well as the reactions to them, complemented Tomek’s lectures, creating a space in which theory could meet relational practice and the group’s experience.
Their collaboration brought together two different styles, generations, and areas of expertise. Interestingly, they both facilitated the module in a language that is not their native tongue, yet they communicated complex material with clarity, ease, and authenticity.
It was wonderful. We are very proud of this duo and, at the same time, very curious to see whether they will create another module together someday.
