| of | 70 points |scope: | | | sciences | | We publish research results in political sciences and administration, law, international relations, economics, sociology, and broadly defined European studies. Our primary aims is to deepen the scientific discourse in the theoretical sphere as well as to present the methodological perspectives useful for European studies. Furthermore, published articles and research reports take into account local and regional perspectives, due to their authors’ in-depth knowledge of the historical, social, legal or cultural context. The scope of the in-depth scientific discourse is broadly understood European studies, as a science not only about the way the European Union functioning, but also about the values it promotes and European civilisation. Additionally, not-reviewed materials are also published, such as essays, monograph reviews, reports, and comments. To date, the journal has been published mostly in the Polish language, with some texts in English (and occasionally in Russian, German and Spanish). Since 2015, it has been systematically internationalised by extending the scope of problems discussed and establishing an Scientific Board composed of representatives of foreign universities. Activities taken to growth international reach of the Quarterly include inter alia steady increase the number of articles in English and broadening the circle of foreign authors and reviewers. Nowadays articles are published in English (two issues per year) and in Polish, as well as other foreign languages (including Russian, German, Spanish). Each issue of Przegląd Europejski is divided into four sections:
► Theory and methodology of European studies;
► European Union law, institutions, and policies;
► European history, culture, and society;
► European Impressions, where reviews, notes, reports, and student essays are published.
