It started with one simple question: Is it really just a plastic bag?
Our PYP Exhibition group quickly discovered that the answer is: Definitely not!
After researching how microplastics travel through water, food, air, and eventually into our own bodies, students decided that facts should not stay only in notebooks.
So they took their message outside school.
They visited local shops carrying posters that showed something impossible to ignore: how much plastic can already be found in human organs.
Because sometimes awareness begins exactly where everyday choices happen.
But they did not stop there.
They also prepared an official petition calling for a complete ban on single-use plastic shopping bags and their replacement with biodegradable, compostable or reusable alternatives.
Their proposal included stronger control over products sold as “eco” and a clear message: Not every green label means real environmental responsibility.
And because action matters when others join in, they collected 115 signatures supporting the petition before officially submitting it to the Polish Parliament.
A school project became a real civic action.

Unit of Inquiry: Where We Are in Place and Time
Our students explored how cities tell stories that help us understand our history and culture. Parents visited the class to share their experiences, inspiring curiosity and discussion.
They learned about stories connected to monuments and historical places, why landmarks are important to our communities, and our responsibility to share and preserve them. Students worked in groups to explore famous landmarks, creating models and presentations.
To finish the unit, our students made their own books about different places. Through this, they developed creativity, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of how people and places are connected around the world.

Earth Day – Toy Swap in Our Preschool
Our preschool took part in a special Earth Day Toy Swap event on April 22. Children brought toys they no longer use and exchanged them with their friends, giving them a second life instead of throwing them away.
This is especially important because many toys are made of plastic, which can take hundreds of years to decompose. By reusing and sharing, we help reduce waste and protect our planet.
Through this activity, our children learned that even small actions can make a big difference for our Earth.

What better way to explore the beautiful nearby park than by playing Spring Park Bingo? Juniors love their outdoor games, which allow them to not only build their teamwork skills but also focus on their observation abilities and find out heaps and heaps about the surrounding nature, which - at this time of the year - is particularly appealing 🤗🌱💚

If you have been following us for a while, you know that the photoshoot and the video session for Grade Six can only mean one thing: this year's PYP Exhibition is upon us and we have started the final count down to the big event!
Wrapping up the preparation process and reflecting on the journey so far are the important parts of our Sixth Graders' final PYP project. Many years of IB learning have led them to this point, and it is now time to show the results of this amazing experience during the Exhibition this Friday 🤗 We simply cannot wait! Keeping our fingers crossed for all the finishing touches and see you there! ☺️💪🙌

Role playing is a fabulous educational tool, allowing our students to learn by acting out various scenarios and real life situations in a safe and nurturing environment 🥰
Recently Juniors had a chance to embark on a super fun plane journey, assuming the roles of pilots, cabin crew, customs officers and, obviously, passengers 🤗✈️👩✈️

As the cycling, rollerblading and scooting season is upon us, it is only right to do a thorough revision of all the rules we need to remember, when using roads, sidewalks and cycle paths.
Our Preschoolers had a brilliant opportunity to participate in a fantastic educational Traffic Rules concert. In a fun, place exiting and involving way, students strengthened their knowledge of road signs, traffic regulations and safety measures to remember whilst using various types of transportation 🚲🛴🛵

Here's a little throwback to Advanced M's previous unit, when the students put their creative minds and manual skills together, in order to build an impressive group project: a HUUUUGE cardboard sculpture! 😁
It allowed our learners to incorporate all their knowledge about form, line and colour gained so far, as well as gave them a perfect opportunity to practice planning and cooperation ❤️
