Congratulations to our Table Topics Winners – Kasia and Paweł! 🎉
This time we had not one, but two Table Topics Winners!
✨️ We had a nice laugh and fun with Kasia () defending the use of Tik-Tok. She creatively argued how the platform can prepare younger generation to real-world problems. 🌍
At the same time, Paweł () had to pursuade the audience why memes shound be banned forever! He immediately came up with great points, giving as an example our Toastmasters community. 👏
🎙 A big shoutout to our Table Topics Master, Madina (), for making our Table Topics Session so entertaining yet thought-provoking at the same time 💪
She introduced to us two wheels of fortune: one for choosing the subject of the speech and the other for selecting whether the speaker will 'defend', 'sell' or even 'ban' it. Her innovative and challenging spirit inspired many guests to come up on stage 🙌

Congratulations to our Word of the Day Winner – Liudmyla! 🎉
✨ This week’s Word of the Day was “consign,” and Liudmyla () mentioned it the most times. This is amazing how cleverly she adapted her speech to include it without changing the topic. It talks about her incredible quick-wit and ability to improvise wihthout losing the focus of her speech's goal👏
📝 A big shotout to our Grammarian, Nazar (), for choosing such great word of the day! Not only he introduced it in the way that will be clear and visible for everyone, but also gave amazing examples. In addition, his interaction with the audience during his report brought clarity and understanding of all grammar mistakes and misusages he spotted during the evening. No doubt that because of Nazar's feedback, the audience will consign their mistakes to the past ✨

🎤 1st Speaker: Liudmyla () – “In The Middle of A Tuesday ”
After delivering her speech last week, Liudmyla beautifully implemented the feedback she received for "Evaluation and Feedback" project. It showed considerable improvement, as she looked much more confident on stage. Her speech contained more structure and smoothness than the previous time. She moved around the stage a lot and maintained good eye contact. Her words felt even more impactful than before. Wonderful progress, Liudmyla! 🚀
💬 1st Speech Evaluator: Konrad ()
As always, Konrad made sure to cover all aspects that are already great and what could be enhanced. He also mentioned the improved points compared to Liudmyla's last speech. His confident yet relaxed stage presence reflects how he has become quite experienced in the Speech Evaluator role. 🌟
🎤 2nd Speaker: Katarzyna – "Stop Wasting Your Assets”
Katarzyna was our special secret guest from Top Careers Toastmasters (), another Toastmasters club located in Warsaw. An experienced speaker herself, Katarzyna gave not just an interesting speech, but also an insightful information about handling your resources more effectively. She used a presentation which is a great advantage for her Presentation Mastery pathway. In addition, Katarzyna used the microphone quite professionally, not letting it to limit her gestures and body language. Thank you for coming and sharing such thought-provoking information! 🙌
💬 2nd Speech Evaluator: Paweł (.007)
Paweł's introduction of the speaker made us more familiar with her, telling about her hobbies and pathway level. He was clear and concise about what kind of feedback Katarzyna is looking for. Paweł also gave great speaker evaluation, highlighting how proficient Katarzyna is with the use of the presentation during her speech and its usefulness. 👏

👁️🧱️ Room 101
This week, we had a very unusual meeting. First of all, it was a collaboration with 42 Warsaw who kindly helped us in preparation for the event.
Next, our Toastmaster of the Day, Ashwini, introduced a fresh and unique theme: Room 101.
Inspired by the novel "1984" by George Orwell, she challenged us to put away our 'rats' of public speaking and fears by consigning them to our very own Room 101. Both guests and members came up with a lot of creative and entertaining suggestions!
Ashwini demonstrated a commanding stage presence and meticulous preparation over the meeting's flow. A big round of applause for an incredible job! 👏🔥

Just when we thought the bar for Table Topics couldn’t be set any higher, Madina did it again! This time, she introduced an engaging new twist using two Wheels of Fortune. 🎡
One wheel revealed the topic, while the other gave a specific challenge, such as 'Defend this topic' or 'Sell it to the audience.' Needless to say, the audience was thrilled. The speakers also loved the fun yet thought-provoking challenge. Well done, Madina! 🙌
We also would like to thank Zyta for initiating and setting up this fantastic collaboration with 42 Warsaw! 👏

🏆 Congratulations to our Table Topics Winner – Julia! 🎉
🎵 In line with our meeting theme, “Bunker Challenge: Speak to Survive,” Julia () tackled a fun and creative question about what kind of playlist she would prepare for a bunker — and what the very first song would be. With a humorous speech about her DJing skills, she revealed that her opening track would be “Survivor” by Destiny’s Child 😄 Her engaging delivery and playful energy made the audience smile throughout. Well done, Julia! 👏
🎙️ A big shoutout to our Table Topics Master, Muna (), for taking on the role for the very first time and navigating it so successfully. Her questions were both engaging and funny, perfectly matching the meeting theme and creating a lively atmosphere for everyone involved. Great job, Muna! 🌟

🏆 Congratulations to our Word of the Day Winner – Liudmyla! 🎉
✨ This week’s Word of the Day was “ubiquitous,” and Liudmyla () made excellent use of it throughout the meeting. From her prepared speech to her Table Topics response, the word became almost ubiquitous in her speaking as she incorporated it naturally and confidently multiple times. Well done, Liudmyla! 👏
📝 A big thank you to our Grammarian, Berk (), for delivering an excellent introduction to his role and coming thoroughly prepared with organized notes. Throughout the meeting, he listened attentively and shared many valuable suggestions on how we can better structure our sentences to match the message we want to deliver. 🎤 Speaker: Liudmyla () – “In The Middle of A Tuesday ”
Liudmyla shared a wonderful speech about some insightful reflections from her life, self-doubts, changing directions and many more. She reminded us that questioning your life is okay. Fun fact: the speaker decided to change her topic just one day before the meeting. We admire Liudmyla's courage to do that and giving us such a personal speech 🔥👏
In addition to her bravery, the speaker significantly improved her eye contact with the audience and implemented more movement on stage. The end of her speech shared a very surprising revelation with us: her birthday was coming up in less than 24 hours!
We congratulate Liudmyla and wish her many more beautiful speeches 🥳✨️
💬 Speech Evaluator: Konrad ()
Konrad provided a very well-structured feedback with many detailed points. He highlighted strong aspects of the speech and gave great recommendations for further improvement. Also, the way Konrad was introducing her was amazing and made us anticipate her performance even more 🔥

✊ Speak to Survive: The Bunker Challenge ⛺
How prepared are you to survive an apocalypse? This meeting we explored the Bunker Challenge that was introduced to us by our Toastmaster of the Day, Madina. We had a lively discussion with lots of passionate and fun opinions over who is most likely to survive and save the human race.
🎤 Our audience was divided into three teams, each of them presenting their choice of people who would most likely to be the best option out of six characters created by Madina. All of the teams came to the same conclusion, however, team 2 is the winner of the competition due to its persuasive public speaking skills. Congratulations to everyone who won!👏
