Licencjonowana nauczycielka jogi (RYT 200 Yoga Alliance). Specjalizacja Ashtanga, Vinyasa Moją przygodę z jogą rozpoczęłam 15 lat temu od metody BKS Iyengara.

Witaj na moim jogowym profilu, rozgość się :-)
To tu promuję jogę i aktualizuję grafik dostępnych zajęć.

This is my humble calling to everyone who is teaching yoga, practicing yoga, or walking the spiritual path.

This is the time to truly understand:
What is Yoga?

Why did our ancient Rishis create these sacred practices?

Yoga was never meant to be another form of entertainment, stimulation, or performance.
Yoga is not about constantly going outward to achieve something.
Yoga is the journey inward.

The real union happens when attention moves inside.
When breath, body, mind, and awareness become one.

Today, yoga is slowly being reduced into trends and labels:
“Goat Yoga”
“Beer Yoga”
“Chicken Yoga”
“Hot Yoga”

But yoga is not a trend.
Yoga is a sacred science of consciousness.

According to the teachings of Maharishi Patanjali and the ancient yogic scriptures, yoga is not limited to physical postures alone.

Yoga is:
• Yama — learning how to live with truth, compassion, and integrity toward others.
• Niyama — cultivating discipline, self-awareness, and inner purity within ourselves.
• Asana — preparing the body to sit with awareness, stability, and presence.
• Pranayama — expanding and balancing life force through conscious breathing.
• Pratyahara — turning the senses inward and disconnecting from external distractions.
• Dharana — developing deep focus and one-pointed concentration.
• Dhyana — entering a state of meditation and continuous awareness.
• Samadhi — experiencing complete union with existence beyond the ego and mind.

When all these limbs come together, yoga becomes a path of transformation.

Otherwise, we are only touching the surface and slowly losing the essence of this ancient wisdom.

So next time you attend a class…
Next time you choose a teacher…
Or if you are already a teacher yourself…

Pause and reflect:
Are we practicing real yoga, or only performing it?

Would love to know how you feel about this.
