BUP PhD Students Training 2026
Centrum Uniwersytetu Bałtyckiego w Polsce z siedzibą na Politechnice Łódzkiej zaprasza doktorantów uczelni zrzeszonych w sieci BUP do wzięcia udziału w konferencji szkoleniowej organizowanej w ramach Uniwersytetu Bałtyckiego (BUP), która odbędzie się w Łodzi, na Politechnice Łódzkiej, w dn. 23-27 listopada 2026 r.

This event is an opportunity for PhD students to become better acquainted with other academic perspectives. The participants are offered training in interdisciplinary research cooperation with the guidance of an international group of senior scientists. The 2026 PhD Students Training takes place on 23-27 November 2026 at Lodz University of Technology, Lodz, Poland.
The objective of this training is to give PhD students from BUP participating universities the possibility to meet and discuss scientific problems with a focus on sustainable development in an interdisciplinary, international, multicultural, and regional context. In this way, students will also get the opportunity to become acquainted with other universities and their scientific traditions.
The program of the training included: lectures, workshops, students’ presentations of PhD work, and individual consultancies of the PhD thesis with international experts.
The event is hosted and organised by the Lodz University of Technology, in collaboration with Adam Mickiewicz University and the BUP Coordinating Secretariat in Uppsala.
There is no participation fee for this event. Lunches, dinners, and coffee breaks will be provided by the BUP during the event program days. However, the accepted PhD students are expected to cover their travel and accommodation themselves.
