Knowing you’re doing the right thing when it comes to your finances is hard. One rule does not fit all and different cultures do things differently. In Nigeria credit is hard to come by and prohibitively expensive. In the US, 80% of Americans carry debt. In Morocco creditors cannot charge interest because of religious beliefs and cash is king. Traveling has taught me a lot about how money is perceived and managed in different ways, giving me my own ideas about how I manage mine. How is personal finance and money in general perceived in your country?
