At Smart Planet, speech therapy looks a little different 🌍💬

Many of our children grow up bilingual or multilingual, so our approach goes beyond traditional speech exercises. We support communication naturally - through play, movement, emotions, daily routines, and meaningful interactions in both languages.

Our speech therapy sessions are designed to help children build confidence, express themselves freely, and develop language skills without pressure. Every child’s linguistic journey is unique, and we celebrate that diversity every single day.

What a beautiful, green journey it has been! 🌍✨
This year, we didn’t celebrate Earth Day for just one day… we turned it into a whole WEEK of learning, exploring, and caring for our planet 💚

📚 We read inspiring books about ecology
🎨 Created eco-themed art projects
♻️ Learned how to sort waste and take care of our environment
🎶 Sang songs in English about Mother Earth 🌎💚

And the grand finale? 🌟
A wonderful workshop with our amazing parents 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💚

Together, we built eco-friendly little houses 🏡 surrounded by gardens 🌱 and planted grass to bring them to life 🌿✨

It was more than just an activity, it was a moment of connection, creativity, and shared responsibility for our planet 💚

Children’s safety is our top priority 💛
This and next month, our team is taking part in regular first aid training 🏥🚑 We continuously improve our skills, focusing on real situations from preschool and the playground.

Our regular sensory activities are a time for calm and mindful play. 🌾
Children explore different textures and sounds using natural materials such as rice, groats, and chickpeas. They pour, touch, mix, and also create their own sensory bottles.
It’s play without rush and without pressure to achieve a result. What matters most is experience, curiosity, and the joy of discovering, each child at their own pace. 🤍

Today our little scientists explored the world of STEM through sensory play! 🌋💧❄️
The children experimented with how to make a volcano erupt, testing ideas and observing real chemical reactions. They also melted frozen animals trapped in ice, discovering how water changes with temperature.
Hands-on STEM activities like these build curiosity, problem-solving skills, and early scientific thinking. Most importantly, they show children that learning is exciting, joyful, and full of discovery🌎🧊🌀🌡🧪

Yesterday we had our monthly Meet the Artist session 🎨✨
This month, the children explored the colorful world of Henri Matisse and his famous paper cut-outs. We talked about how simple shapes can turn into powerful works of art and how colors can express movement and emotions.
The children experimented with composition, cut out different shapes, combined colors, and created their own expressive artworks inspired by Matisse’s cut-out technique.
It was a wonderful opportunity to develop:

🔵 fine motor skills
🟡 spatial awareness
🔴 confidence in artistic self-expression

Polar Adventure Day! ❄️🌍
Today we traveled all the way to the Arctic and Antarctica without leaving our classroom! 🐧🐻‍❄️
Ms. Lisa told us wonderful stories about these beautiful, icy places, their animals, snow, ice and life at the ends of the world.
We learned, imagined, explored and had so much fun!
