🍦 What does a green ice cream lolly taste like? Pistachio... or broccoli?! 🥦😂

We had the absolute best time in our English lessons this week exploring everyone’s favourite summer treat: Ice Cream! 🍨 Through some super fun, hands-on games, our students practised their speaking, listening, and descriptive vocabulary without even realising they were learning.

We kicked things off with The Great Flavour Guessing Game, using paper ice cream lollies in various colours to show the children that appearances can be deceiving! While white, pink, and brown usually turned out to be vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate, sometimes they were actually garlic, tomato and bread flavour. Green could be delicious pistachio or broccoli, and yellow turned out to be cheese instead of lemon! The kids had a cracking time guessing and picked up some fantastic new food adjectives along the way.

Next up was our "Order Up!" Listening Challenge, where the classroom transformed into a bustling ice cream parlour. Taking turns as customers and shop owners, one student would pick a secret card showing a waffle cone with three specific coloured scoops. They then had to describe the order to their partner, who built it using paper cutouts. Comparing the final creations to the original cards was a brilliant way to practice colours, prepositions and flavours.

To wrap things up, the children finally got to design their Dream Dessert! We used a fantastic mix of stickers featuring different colourful scoops, fresh fruit, sweet sauces, and crunchy nuts. It was the perfect, creative way to practice expressing preferences like "I want..." and "I like...". 🎨✨

What an absolute blast we had in class today exploring all the amazing Community Helpers who keep us safe, healthy, and happy! 🚒🚓🩺

Our classroom was buzzing with excitement as we welcomed some special puppet friends - a policeman, a fireman, and a medic. The real magic started when we pulled out our mystery bag! The kids’ eyes lit up with every single object we pulled out. From shiny, red helmets and whistles to stethoscopes and fire extinguishers, they loved guessing which helper used which tool, and we even got to do a little dressing up along the way.

We spent the rest of our time putting on our thinking caps to solve real-world mysteries, matching everyday scenarios and cool helper attributes to the right hero. Seeing those "aha!" moments as they connected the dots between the helpers and how they take care of us was just the best.

It’s safe to say our little learners have a whole new appreciation for the heroes in our neighbourhood!

Grupa Bunnies poprzez różnorodne zabawy i aktywności ćwiczyła koncentrację, spostrzegawczość oraz współpracę w grupie. Nie zabrakło wspólnego rozwiązywania zadań, rozwijania kreatywności i nauki wzajemnego wsparcia 💛

To był czas pełen radości, uśmiechu i zdobywania nowych umiejętności w przyjaznej atmosferze 🎨🧩
