At our nursery and preschool, outdoor adventures are part of our everyday life! 🤎
We believe that spending time outdoors is essential for children’s development. That’s why we make outdoor play a priority in all seasons and all kinds of weather, always making sure our little explorers are dressed appropriately and ready for their next adventure! 🌦️
Sand, water, mud, leaves, puddles… What may seem like ordinary things to adults can become extraordinary learning opportunities for children.
Our approach is deeply inspired by the educational philosophies of Maria Montessori and Friedrich Froebel.
🌱 Montessori emphasised the importance of independence, hands-on exploration, and learning through real-life experiences. The natural environment offers endless opportunities for children to develop their senses, concentration, coordination, confidence, and independence.
🌼 Froebel, the founder of the kindergarten concept, believed that play is at the heart of childhood learning and that connecting with nature is essential for children’s holistic development. Through outdoor play, creativity, exploration, and shared discoveries, children develop their imagination, social skills, and understanding of the world around them.
For us, outdoor time is so much more than a break from the classroom.
It is a classroom without walls, where curiosity leads the way, little hands make big discoveries, and every experience becomes an opportunity to grow. 🤎
